How To Easily Backup Blogger Template:

1. Log in to your Blogger account

2. Go to Dashboard> Design> Edit HTML. Your screen will look like the image below:

 

3. Click the Expand Widget Templates checkbox.

4. Position your cursor inside the code window and right click and choose Select All.

5. Copy the code and paste it in Notepad or other text editor. For the sake of this tutorial, let's name the file BloggetTutorialsDWTemplateBackup.txt.

6. Keep the file in a safe place. My advice you should never underestimate this, because if you lose your backups up to the template, there is most likely you have to start all over again to re-create your template as in the past.

7. That's it, you've backed up your blog template! hopefully there is no problem to the template that you have backups.

Restoring a template:

1. Whenever you now want to restore your template, simply


2. Repeat step 1 to 3 above.


3. Open BloggetTutorialsDWTemplateBackup.txt., Select All and Copy.


4. Position the cursor inside your template code window, right click and Select All.


5. Click Paste. The template code Will be replaced by the code from MyTemplateBackup.txt.


6. And your template is restored.
